BRCA mutation screening is known to play an important role in terms of cancer prevention and target treatment for ovarian carcinoma patients. However, there are barriers to persuade patients to accept genetic counseling according to adjuvant treatment and disease severity. We undertook this study to investigate the clinical significance between advanced stage patients and their acceptance rate of BRCA testing and genetic counseling by a gynecologic oncologist.
